- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is posting this solicitation notice to procure Multi-Mode Radar (MMR) systems. The MMR will serve as the primary sensor for air surveillance, surface surveillance and Gun Weapon System (GWS) cueing for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC). Information related to the MMR was previously posted under solicitation numbers N00024-16-R-5381 (https://www.fbo.gov/spg/DON/NAVSEA/NAVSEAHQ/N00024-16-R-5381/listing.html) and N00024-15-R-5371 (https://www.fbo.gov/spg/DON/NAVSEA/NAVSEAHQ/N00024-15-R-5371/listing.html). Please refer to this solicitation notice (N00024-17-R-5381) for the most current documents and information. All questions shall be submitted in accordance with the instructions found under Section L of this solicitation. IMPORTANT: In order to be considered for contract award, each company must have a SECRET facility clearance by time of award. Offerors must be able to receive classified portions of the solicitation up to the SECRET level. Offerors must be a United States (US) company or an independent US subsidiary, although foreign contractors may act as subcontractors to U.S. prime contractors. The export of defense articles, defense services, and related technical data is subject to the Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and requires the issuance of an export license by the U.S. Department of State.
