Questions and Answers #1 RFQ ID - VA258-17-Q-0134 1. Can companies from Outside USA can apply for this? (like, from India or Canada)? Answer: Please reference RFQ VA258-17-Q-0134, Page 19 para (45) 52.225-1, Buy American Supplies (MAY 2014) (41 U.S.C. chapter 83) and para (48) 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases (JUN 2008) (E.O.'s, proclamations, and statutes administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the Department of the Treasury). Also reference Section C. C.1 52.212-4. Lastly reference C.8 IT CONTRACT SECURITY 2. Does the vendor need visit for meetings? Answer: There is not a pre/post award meetings per say. But there is a setup and training requirement. Please reference SOW/Schedule Pages 4-8 for details. 3. Can a vendor perform the tasks related to RFQ outside USA? (like, from India or Canada)?
