The Government proposes to acquire on a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract a minimum quantity of 150 each up to 750 each maximum of a SEARCHLIGHT, NSN: 6230-01-653-9052, Part Number: 727-1198/02 applicable to the BE UH-60 (Blackhawk) weapon system. Production Lead Time without First Article Testing is 420 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to TEXARKANA, TX 75507-5000. No telephone requests will be accepted. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for competitive solicitation. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
