This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center in Orlando has a need for a Test kits and reagents for Biofire Diagnostics Multiplex Equipment, brand name or equal for the Lake Nona VA Medical Center Laboratory located at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827. This notice is intended strictly for market research purposes only to determine if full and open competition solicitation is appropriate. The intent is to find qualified businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing) for a firm-fixed price 5-year contract. Potential sources are to respond by email at Lisa.John@va.gov no later than January 13, 2017 at 2pm Eastern Time, and provide the following information: a. Capabilities for providing this product b. Detailed description of product if the item provided is an equal; response shall identify manufacturer and include parts list, along with details on how such item(s) match or exceed the salient characteristics. c. Business Size (i.e. Small Business, SDVOSB, Woman Owned Small Business etc.) d. DUNS Number e.
