- Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Safety Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of Elevators and Escalators in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) Market Research Questionnaire for Safety Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of Elevators and Escalators in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) Sources Sought Notice FA5613-17-Elevators Safety Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of Elevators and Escalators in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) The Sources Sought notice is posted by a government agency seeking possible sources for a project. It is not a solicitation. The US Air Force is seeking potential companies who have the skills, experience, knowledge and capabilities required to perform safety inspection, maintenance and repair of elevators and escalators of commercial and industrial type. Interested companies must have the following qualifications: -be member of either the Chamber of Commerce (Industry und Handelskammer) or Chamber of Trade (Handwerkskammer) as a qualified contractor for maintenance and repair of elevators; -employ personnel meeting federal and local certification requirements in maintaining and repairing elevators in Germany. The place of performance is the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC), Ramstein Air Base, Landstuhl-Kirchberg, Kaiserslautern-Vogelweh and Kaiserslautern-Kapaun, in Germany. The anticipated period of performance is 01 October 2017 through 30 September 2018, with the yearly option to extend the performance through 30 September 2022. Interested sources are requested to provide a capability statement which briefly describes previous and/or current work experience in or relating to the areas listed above, and to identify whether they are ISO 9001/2015 certified. In addition, interested sources are requested to review attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Safety Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of Elevators and Escalators in the KMC and provide comments, concerns and recommendations in accordance with attached Market Research Questionnaire. This notice may represent the Government's only official notice of this procurement.
