Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written Solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number VA248-17-Q-0234 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The attached solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-93-1 dated 01/01/2017. Responses should be sent to Shirley.Courtney@va.gov. NAICS and Set-aside: The NAICS is 812930 and the small business size standard is $38.5 million. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). Any firm that is not considered a SDVOSB under this NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. To receive consideration as SDVOSB the firm must be registered and verified in the VIP database at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. The government anticipates awarding a Firm-fixed price contract. An award will be made to Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote, which conforms to the requirements within this solicitation and represents the best price to the government. The Service Contact Act, Wage Determination number 2005-2113, Rev. 18, Date 01/05/2016 is applicable to this contract. For further details, access the relevant wage determination at www.wdol.gov. Description of Services requested: The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 08, North Florida/South Georgia, Veterans Health System, requires the following services: Valet parking services for the North Florida / South Georgia Veterans Health System, Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL is required with an initial period of one (1) base year and four (4) one year option periods To receive a government award, the contractor must be currently registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Interested contractors must submit a copy of any relevant certifications and licenses along with their quote. Quotes must be received February 10, 2017 by 1630 EST. All quotes must be submitted by electronic submission in reference to VA248-17-Q-0234 to Shirley.Courtney@va.gov. Quotes received after the exact time specified in the solicitation are considered late and may be considered if the action would not unduly delay the acquisition.
