Description
This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, veteran owned, women owned or service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NACIS 811310. Written responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to the sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement will be published in FedConnect website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office (WYAO) is seeking sources for annual maintenance of the HVAC systems at the following radio communication sites: Casper Mountain West, Sybrant, Sand Draw, and Pine Ridge. The HVAC Company should be able to provide the following services during the annual maintenance at each of our radio communication sites. - Inspect the outdoor condenser coils, evaporator coils and cabinets clean as needed - Inspect the unit for proper refrigerant levels m l d adjust if necessary - Clean dirt, leaves and debris from inside the compressor housing - Inspect the base pan for restricted drain openings and remove any obstructions as necessary i. Make sure the seala11t is in place around the drip pipe. - Inspect fan motor and fan blades for wear and damage and lubricate as needed - Inspect control box, any associated controls/ accessories, wiring connections. i. Controls may include contactors, relays. Circuit boards, capacitors, heat sump and other accessories. All control box and electrical parts should be checked for wear or damage - Check the air filters and replace or clean as necessary - Make sure the unit cycles on and off properly i. The system should turn on, run through a full cycle and shut off properly ii. A/C should turn on when temperature in building exceeds high level and heat should turn on when temperature in building drops below a set value. (Temperature thresholds should work) - Clean level and calibrate the thermostat as needed The hours of operation are Monday thru Thursday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm excluding holidays. Contractor will have to make arrangements at least a week in advance with point of contact due to sites are all locked and will have to be escorted. The intended contract period will be for twelve (12) months, plus four (4) 1-year option periods, which is to begin on or about March 2017. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, size of business, socioeconomic classification, Federal Tax Identification Number, Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number and qualification statement. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Tonya A. Pittsley, Bureau of Reclamation, at tpittsley@usbr.gov. Telephone responses shall not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 4:00 pm (MST) January 20, 2017. This notice is to assist the WYAO in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately.
