- This requirement is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract for NSN 5342-01-414-6584, KIT, SAFETY CABLE. The approved source is SAE International, CAGE 0U583, part number AS3510-0212K (approved sources of supply are: Daniels Manufacturing Corp, CAGE 11851 and Bergen Cable Technology, CAGE 70958). This is a Critical Application Item. Surge requirements do not apply. Contract period is for one (1) base year with option to extend term of contract for four (4) one-year periods. Estimated annual demand quantity is 2,124 PG (package) per base year and each option years (1 PG = 50 ea). Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available at CFolders. Required delivery is 30 days ARO. FOB Origin; Inspection/Acceptance at Destination is required. Any manufacturer other than the approved source wishing to submit a proposal must submit a completed Source Approval Request (SAR) package. Alternate offers will not be considered for the current procurement; once approved, the alternate part may be considered on future procurements. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the Request for Proposal (RFP). A copy of the solicitation will be made available via DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS Homepage, select Search RFPs.
