The multi-purpose system capability the Government is seeking includes: 1) in-situ molecule-to-surface elemental analysis 2) chemical bond analysis without introducing the sample to air and 3) gas-phase analysis. The objective of the system is to improve the initial surface interactions in the applications of air purification, decontamination, chemical sensing and other thrust areas in sustaining military operations. Also, be compatible for routine analysis and have multiple surface techniques. The Government is seeking the following information on this capability: a.Is there a commercial product that is commercially available to provide this capability? b.If not, would a commercial product(s) be modified to provide this capability?
