Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 8), James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), Tampa, FL is currently seeking information from any certified vendor that can provide Veterinary Services which include but are not limited to animal maintenance, transport and care support services. Vendors shall be fully accredited by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC) and managed in accordance with the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (Guide), the Animal Welfare Regulations Title 9 Code of Federal Regulations Subchapter A, Animal Welfare, Parts 1-3 (AWR), the Public Health Service Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (PHS Policy), and the local Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee s Principles of Animal Care and Use. The anticipated type of contract will be Firm Fixed Price. The applicable NAICS for this service is: 541712- Medical research and development laboratories or services (except biotechnology research and development) (1,000 employees SBA Size Standard). To be considered for this requirement, quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM - https://www.sam.gov).
