Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for HVAC Installation prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A firm-fixed price is anticipated. (ii) The solicitation number is VA247-17-Q-0143 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 (iv) This solicitation is 100% Set Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and the associated NAICS code 238220 has a small business size standard of $15M (v) Contract Line Items (CLINs): 0001: Contract must supply all labor, parts and supplies to install an HVAC System. Installation shall include removal of old duct work and replacing with new duct work. In addition, returns and gas lines shall be installed at no extra charge. Quantity: 1 Job - Location of Equipment - VA Transitional Residence 1301 Carraway Blvd Birmingham, AL 35234 - HVAC System must meet the following minimum requirements - 5-Ton Gas Pack 14 Seer 410 Freon 5 Year Parts Warranty 1 Year Labor Warranty (vi) Requirements of Service Provider: Must be certified/licensed by the State of Alabama to perform HVAC installation services (vii) Period of Performance - until completion. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and the following instructions are added as addenda: INSTRUCTIONS TO QUOTERS: Quote shall include at a copy of Alabama State HVAC license. Quote shall include submit up to one page of information describing work experience or resume of HVAC technician. Quote may include up to 3 references that include point of contact name, phone number, email address and contract number associated with the service, period of performance and description of services rendered. References shall only be of similar scope and size to this solicitation. SITE VISIT: Friday, Jan 20th @ 9am Local Time.
