- Network Contracting Office 10 will be soliciting offers for courier services for Battle Creek VA Medical Center in Battle Creek, MI and its outlying facilities. Contractor shall provide all necessary transportation, fuel, labor, uniforms, equipment and supplies as required for same day courier services to pick-up and deliver laboratory specimens, records, mail and supplies for Battle Creek VA Medical Center; Wyoming Health Care Clinic; Grand Rapids Vet Center; Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Benton Harbor, Lansing, and Muskegon; and VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, all located in Michigan. Request for Quote (VA-251-17-Q-0199) will be issued on or around February 1, 2017. Anticipated award date is April 1, 2017 for a base period through September and with four one-year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. No telephone requests will be honored. The government is not responsible to make available paper copies. Questions must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer. If contractors submit questions, they are strongly encouraged to do so within three calendar days after the issuance of the solicitation. Verbal questions will not be addressed. All responses to questions which may affect offers will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation. Offerors are encouraged and are responsible for routinely checking the web site for any solicitation amendments that may be issued throughout the offer period. No individual notification of amendments will be provided. Offer due date and time will be included in the solicitation document. This is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The NAICS code for this requirement is 492110. The size standard is 1500 employees.
