Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334510. The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System has a need for brand name or equal to Medtronic CryoConsole. The Cardio Cryo System must be compatible with Arctic Front Advance Cryoballon and Freezor MAX catheters. Salient Characteristics: CryoConsole Height: 126 to 157 cm Depth: < 60 cm Width: < 60 cm Weight: <135 kg (without N20 tanks) Power: 110/120/230V Operational parameters: 15-30 °C; maximum of 75% humidity Refrigerant: Liquified nitrous oxide (N2O); 99.5% purity with humidity level < 50 ppm Accessories: In addition to the CryoConsole and the cryoablation catheters, the Cardiac CryoAblation System consists of sterile, single-use cables, as well as nonsterile accessories. The coaxial umbilical provides the refrigerant transport to the catheter and vapor recovery to the CryoConsole. The electrical umbilical provides the electrical connection between the catheter and the CryoConsole. The Auto Connection Box provides an electrical interface to the catheter. The ECG cable provides an interface between the catheter and a standard ECG monitor (via 2 mm touch-proof connectors). The scavenging hose is used to connect the CryoConsole to the hospital scavenging system. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
