THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SYNOPSIZING AN UPCOMING COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION SATISFYING THE REQUIREMENTS OF FAR 5.201 AND 5.203 AN INVITATION FOR BIDS WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT FEBRUARY 9, 2017 Replace Russell Automatic Transfer Switches, Canandaigua VA Medical Center VA242-17-B-0233 The Canandaigua VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a requirement to provide for a facility-wide replacement of all existing Russ Electric brand transfer switches. The work will include, but not limited, field survey/measurements, electrical wiring, testing, disposal and site restoration. Temporary emergency power shall be provided at each transfer switch. No building should have the potential for shut down in the event of an outage from the utility. All work will be accomplished on the Canandaigua VAMC site as indicated in the plans, specifications, and drawings under project number 528A5-17-507. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210 with a small business size standard of $15 million. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A 20% bid bond will be required and must be submitted with the bid. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
