All terms and conditions of the DHS S&T SVO 5-Year Innovation OTS HSHQDC-16-R-B0005 (current issue) apply to this solicitation unless otherwise noted herein. The "current issue" of the DHS S&T SVO 5-Year Innovation OTS HSHQDC-16-R-B0005 used herein refers to the latest issue posted in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). It is posted in FBO as DHS S&T SVO 5- Year Innovation OTS HSHQDC-16-R-B0005 and incorporates all changes made to date. DHS seeks novel sUAS capabilities and technologies to augment CBP and U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) mission capabilities. In particular, DHS is seeking technologies and solutions that support USBP agent activities, including enhanced overall situational awareness or support during distinct events such as detection, tracking, interdiction and apprehension plus search and rescue operations. USBP agents operate day and night in diverse and extreme environments across thousands of miles of the nation's international land borders and coastal waters. Agents must patrol remote areas, often with significantly limited mobility, visibility and communications, while on foot and carrying large equipment loads and with limited intelligence and support to resolve encounters with unknown and potentially hostile actors. DHS seeks sUAS solutions that can augment USBP capabilities in such conditions in the following 3 areas: 1. User Interfaces 2. Sensor Systems 3. Platform Security We advise that you read the documents associated with this call: Technical Call : Provides the use cases, problem sets, constraints, technical and programmatic requirements and other pertinent submission information.
