- Sources Sought Info Request Form Synopsis: ALTER MAINTENANCE HANGAR POWER AND INSTALL EQUIPMENT AT ALL SPOTS - SOURCES SOUGHT. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The USPFO for Vermont, Purchasing and Contracting Office, may issue a solicitation and award a contract to alter Building 150 Maintenance Hangar subject to the availability of funds. Scope of the project includes the modification of an existing 49,700 SF USAF fighter hangar maintenance facility utilizing conventional design and construction methods to accommodate a new facility mission. Work includes architectural, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications and structural upgrades to the entire building. There is limited site work. Project also includes providing power and preconditioned air at each aircraft position and reconfiguration of the interior to accommodate shops, offices, bath/locker rooms, meeting rooms and storage. The magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 15 February 2017. This notification, which shall not exceed five (5) typewritten pages, MUST include: (1) Positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor; (2) Completed and signed MX Hangar Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached); (3) Listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included. Indicate if you were the prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor; (4) Brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that will be used to accomplish the contract. In the event a sufficient number of Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
