Description

The Veterans Affairs NCO4, Contracting Department intends to procure via sole source with Getinge USA Inc, 1777 E Henrietta Rd Rochester, NY for a full service contract on Getinge Sterilizers which would include travel, labor, OEM parts and preventative maintenance for the Pittsburgh VAMC located at University Drive Pittsburgh, PA 15240. These units also need repair by trained personnel using manufacturer approved parts. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 811219.   The size standard is $20.5 mil. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement must submit information about their capabilities no later than 12:00 PM EST, 01/31/2017.   All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.   No solicitation will be made available. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, April.Stanch@va.gov.     Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Office will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Getinge USA Inc.
