Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Aleda E. Lutz Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Saginaw, MI is seeking a contractor to provide irregular courier services of specimens to area laboratories. Contractor shall provide vehicles, gasoline, insurance, personnel, and directional materials necessary to accomplish irregular courier services for and between facilities. It should be noted that blood substances shall be one of the items transported by the contractor. The applicable North American Classification Code (NAICS) is 492110. All potential bidders MUST be registered and active in the System for Award Management site (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov. Potential bidders should register at https://www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification of and/or changes to the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued electronically and will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fedbizopps.gov. This action is 100 percent (100%) set aside for small business. No fax or email bid packages shall be accepted. Bid packages will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about January 31, 2017. No phone, fax or email inquiries will be taken for this Pre-Solicitation Notice.
