- The United States Air Force, 23d Contracting Squadron at Moody AFB, is issuing this notice of intent (NOI) FA4830-17-Q-0021 to inform industry contractors the Government's intent to execute a Single Source award under FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), with OMAX Corporation. This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, specifically FAR Subpart13.106-1(b)(1) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award FA4830-17-P-0017. Anticipated award date is set for NLT 3/14/2017, in the amount of $43,175.10. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 333517. This requirement is set-aside for small business. The Small Business Administration size standard for this sector is 500 Employees. The contractor shall furnish all the necessary parts and materials to repair an OMAX WATER JET Model number 055510 and ship to Moody AFB. This requirement is to purchase parts for an OMAX WATER JET at Moody Air Force Base on a system originally purchased from OMAX Corporation. OMAX corporation is the sole manufacturer of OMAX waterjets and is authorized to maintain, supply and service OMAX waterjets. OMAX has the exclusive access to all OEM parts, technical information, and training for OMAX waterjets. OMAX corporation is the only company authorized to sell and install OMAX OEM parts, technical information. For this reason, this requirement is being solicited single source in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
