- Resodyn Acustic Mixer *PROCUREMENT TYPE The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1) LabRAM II, Bench Top Mixing System, 750 - 1,000 gram payload, 110VAC, Standard Vessel Hold-Down Tooling, Qty 1; 2) LabRAM II - Upgraded Back Panel with Vacuum, RTD, Spray System and Jacketed Vessel, Qty 1; 3) LabRAM II Automatic Vacuum System, Qty 1; 4) LabRAM II Built-In Strobe, Qty 1; 5) Jacketed Vessel System, Qty 1; 6) LabRAM II Remote Panel, Qty 1; 7) RTD Assembly - 6" x ¼", Qty 3. This requirement is sole sourced to Resodyn Acoustic Mixers., 130 North Main Street, Butte Mt 59701 due to the unique capability that Resodyn owns acoustic mixing technology and is the only vendor which sells acoustic mixers at the 2 pound capacity suitable for mixing ink formulations in the printing reserviors as well as for mixing high-viscosity materials (i.e. about 1,000,000 cP). It is able to generate a uniform shear field while mixing in custom mixing containers or vessels and has temperature monitoring, vacuum, data logging and the ability to control/program the mixer both locally and remotely. Any firms believing that they can provide the materials may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the materials without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a Capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
