Description
Solicitation The United States Property & Fiscal Office (USPFO) for Connecticut is seeking proposals to provide Back-up Field Level Aviation Maintenance, Sustainment Level Aviation maintenance and limited Depot repair, maintenance of all Connecticut Army National Guard Helicopters, helicopter subsystems and ground support equipment (GSE) to include Preservation/ Corrosion Control for the 1109th Theater Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group(TASMG), located in GROTON, CT and their related Army Aviation Support Facilities (AASF) across the Northeast United States. Period of Performance is for 1 year beginning June 2017 with a possibility of 4 option years. This requirement is designed to be flexible, responsive, and meets the ever-evolving needs of the government. The need for this requirement is due to the lack of military personnel to support because of deployment of soldiers to various missions and limited density of specialized Military Occupational Specialties (MOS's). In order to keep aircraft functional and mission ready, supplemental manpower is necessary to provide various maintenance and repair functions. The Contractor shall furnish all labor and services required to provide a wide range back-up Field Level Aviation Maintenance, Sustainment Level Aviation maintenance and limited Depot repair, maintenance of all Connecticut Army National Guard Helicopters, helicopter subsystems and ground support equipment (GSE) to include Preservation/ Corrosion Control as well as other supporting tasks. The contractor will provide qualified personnel based on the functions that are required at the CTARNG location. The USPFO for Connecticut is seeking qualified Section 8(a) Small Businesses, that qualify under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes: 488190 Aircraft maintenance and repair services (except factory conversion, factory overhaul, factory rebuilding). The Small Business Size Standard is $32,500,000. All interested, responsive and responsible contractors are encouraged to submit a proposal.
