- The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Northwest Regional Office, intends to solicit/award a sole source, firm fixed price contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, to Wright Company, 141 N. 1st Roberts, MT 59070-9422)). SePro is the manufacturer and Wright Company is the sole authorized dealer/ distributor of the required supplies in the region near Saint Ignatius, MT. Wright Company does not charge freight costs for orders over 3 totes. A brand name justification applies to all line items in this order because the required chemical contains a proprietary formulation and has successfully worked for the Irrigation Project in the past at controlling aquatic weeds in an environment that must continue to be safe for bull trout. The line item description appears below and on the attached SF1449. The requirement is for Nautique (aquatic herbicide for irrigation /canal application). The NAICS is 325230 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. A 275-gallon sized tote is required for ease and efficiency of application. Vendors interested in this requirement should submit a quote/ response to this request and in accordance with FAR Part 12 no later than 3/20/2017 at 3 pm EST. Submit your quote via a completed SF 1449 via email to: Anita.MacAuley@bia.gov with the subject line "Nautique Flathead Irrigation 0040305635-1" in the subject line of the email. The Government will consider all responses received and submitted by the due date for submission of quotes. Price shall also include pick up/ disposal of totes in accordance with manufacturer's instructions at the end of the irrigation season, but not later than 6 months after award. A determination by the Government not to complete this acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
