Description

Sources Sought - SUBCONTRACTOR shall provide all required services to design, provide any materials, parts and equipment, construction/installation services, and commissioning of a photovoltaic (PV) system to be located adjacent to building Fire Station No. 1 at the National Nuclear Security Site (NNSS) in Mercury Nevada. The system shall produce 485,040 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year with all main electrical components necessary for complete PV system sized. Existing on-site system components (transformers, utility box, disconnects, etc.) will support 500 kW AC. The PV system connection point shall be located at the Fire Station's Main Service Disconnect Switch. The Main Service Disconnect Switch is to remain in place. The existing electrical system is to be reconfigured to tie in with the new switchboard required for the new PV system. This new electrical system configuration is to be shown in the SUBCONTRACTORS drawing submittals for CONTRACTOR review. Interested parties should provide an overview of their firm's business experience constructing solar arrays for Government Agencies, Prime Contractors and or Commercial Businesses with their initial response.
