Description

J&A MEMORANDUM OF STANDARD PROCEDURE, DRAWING, SLIDING BLOCK CHAIN PACKIGING PROCEDURE SOLICITATION Military Sealift Command (MSC), Norfolk, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the above Double Stranded Chain. Only American Standard (domestic) chain will be accepted or full weight testing will be required on each chain strand in accordance with NAVSHIPS Tech Manual Chapter 571R4 section 571-5.2.3o. No proposed deviations to this solicitation will be accepted without prior written approval from the UNREP equipment In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) at Port Hueneme, CA. See attached for detailed information.
