- This solicitation is being issued as Request for Quote (RFQ). Written quotes are being requested. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented and FAR Part 12 Commercial Items with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. This is a solicitation from the United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division-Kansas City (EAD-KC), 601 East 12 th Street, Room 1734, Kansas City, MO 64106. Ø Remotely Operated Submersible Vehicle In accordance with the specifications listed in the Statement of Work Qty: 1 Ø Shipping Charges This RFQ and the following incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and the associated NAICS code is 334511 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The place of acceptance for all items under this contract shall be the NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL) located in Ann Arbor, MI. EAD-KC requires that all contractors to be eligible for award, the quoter must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) database and complete the “Core Data”, “Assertions”, “Representations and Certifications”, and “Points of Contact”. No award can be made to a company not registered in SAM.
