- SOURCES SOUGHT The West Texas Health Care System (WTVAHCS), located in Big Spring, TX 79720, is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) sources capable of providing the equipment listed below. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. Interested SDVOSB vendors must be verified in VETBIZ VIP and registered under NAICS 336112 in both VETBIZ and SAM. One (1) four wheel drive diesel utility vehicle. Specifications: 15 cubic feet of cargo space, 800 lb load capacity 3 cylinder diesel engine 4 wheel independent suspension Heavy duty work tires Steel frame Transmission drive only no belt drive Hydraulic tilt bed Cab, windshield, doors, metal roof Options Air conditioner heater Two (2) four wheel drive diesel utility vehicles. Specifications: 15 cubic feet of cargo space, minimum 1000 lb load capacity 3 cylinder diesel engine 4 wheel independent suspension Front and rear ATV tires Steel frame Transmission drive only no belt drive Hydraulic tilt bed Factory installed metal canopy Polycarbonate windshield Windshield wiper kit Mirrors side and rear view No proprietary fluids required One (1) four wheel drive diesel utility vehicle. Specifications: 15 cubic feet of cargo space, minimum 1000 lb load capacity 3 cylinder diesel engine 4 wheel independent suspension Front and rear ATV tires Steel frame Transmission drive only no belt drive Hydraulic tilt bed Factory installed cab with windshield and wipers, heat and air Mirrors side and rear Headlights and brake lights 3 cubic feet rear mounted salt spreader No proprietary fluids required SELECTION CRITERIA: Evaluation Method: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) The following evaluation factors will be used: Technical Acceptability proposed equipment meets or exceeds published salient characteristics Price The price of each quote shall be evaluated. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government wide Point of Entry. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the Government wide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The anticipated NAICS code(s) is: 336112, Light Truck and Utility Vehicles Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,500 employees. In response to this sources sought, please provide: Name of the firm (SDVOSB only), address, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS, and CAGE code Capability Statement detailing ability to provide requested products Statement that SDVOSB is verified in VETBIZ & registered under NAICS code 336112 in SAM & VETBIZ All potential SDVOSB vendors MUST be verified in VETBIZ VIP and registered under NAICS 336112 in BOTH VETBIZ and SAM. Any SBVOSB firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this product must provide product specifications and delivery information by notifying the Contracting Officer no later than 1:00 P.M.
