- R17PS00367 - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Bulk Chemicals for Yuma Area Office - BPA (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) To facilitate electronic quote submissions through FedBizOpps, a request for quote (RFQ No. R17PS00367) is being issued subsequent to this combined solicitation/synopsis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-95, dated 01/19/2017. (iv) This requirement is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 325998 - All Other Miscellaneous Chemical Product and Preparation Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 325998 is 500 employees. (v) Line item 0001 - Liquid Chlorine, in accordance with Attachment 1 - Specifications and Exhibit A - Exemplar Order. The specifications and exhibits provide more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. Line item 0002 - Hydrated Lime, in accordance with Attachment 1 - Specifications and Exhibit A - Exemplar Order. The specifications and exhibits provide more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. Line item 0003 - Liquid Ferric Sulfate, in accordance with Attachment 1 - Specifications and Exhibit A - Exemplar Order The specifications and exhibits provide more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. Line item 0004 - Sulfuric Acid, in accordance with Attachment 1 - Specifications and Exhibit A - Exemplar Order. The specifications and exhibits provide more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. Line item 0005 - Anhydrous Ammonia, in accordance with Attachment 1 - Specifications and Exhibit A - Exemplar Order. The specifications and exhibits provide more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. Note: Offerors may provide a quote on one or more of the line items listed above. See Exhibit A - Exemplar Order. Offerors are expected to provide pricing for up to 12 months, if possible, but no less than 6 months. (vi) The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for the delivery of bulk chemicals as listed above (that conform to all the requirements listed in Attachment 1 - Specifications). Reclamation anticipates awarding two or more 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) as a result of this RFQ. (vii) Performance will begin on or about April 2017. All items shall be delivered to Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Desalting Plant, 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, AZ 85364-9763.
