Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) currently intends to solicit with only a single source and award a contract for repair and preventative maintenance of Omnicell brand equipment (as detailed below) but is seeking vendors that may be able to perform this requirement in order to support a competitive procurement. Accordingly, the DVA highly encourages all interested business (large and small) to respond to this notice. In response to this notice, interested businesses must describe their social-economic categories and their capability of meeting the requirement at a fair market price. This information will be used to assist in determining set-aside requirements, in the event a competitive procurement is established. The intended source is currently: Omnicell, Inc. | 3661 Burwood Dr | Waukegan,  IL,  60085 Period of Performance: 1 year plus up to 4 priced optional years BIRMINGHAM CLINIC EQUIPMENT: OSPPO SERVICE PROFILE DRIVEN OPTION, QTY4; OMNIRX HALF-CELL G4, QTY4; SAFETYSTOCK THERMAL PRINTER (SAT), QTY1; MSA-OPT-016 SV-FLEXFLOCK W/TEMPCHECK (50')2.0, QTY8 (sns 12872M01544, 12872M01650, 12872M01591, 12872M01548, 12872M01584, 12872M01645, 12872M01530) HUNSTVILLE CLINIC EQUIPMENT: OSPPO SERVICE PROFILE DRIVEN OPTION, QTY4; OMNIRX HALF-CELL G4, QTY4; OMNICENTER BASE SERVER, QTY1 The statutory authority for the sole source procurement is FAR 13.106(b) Soliciting from a single source. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the DVA to contract for any supply or service. Further, the DVA is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The DVA will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, if a competitive solicitation is released, it will be synopsized & solicited on the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE). It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the GPE for additional information pertaining to this requirement. All responses to this notice must be in writing and include the Notice # VA247-17-N-0246 in the subject line. Additionally, responses must also include: Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, identify business size (large business or a small business), and if applicable, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code. Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not. Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any. Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), pertinent certifications, etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination.
