- This is a Request for Information (RFI). The USDA-ARS intends to purchase this item(s) if and when funding becomes available. This request is submitted for the USDA-ARS to build a requirement and find potential vendors for product(s) to enhance research capabilities. Specifications below are based on the Buhler ML202 Flour Mill currently being used. The USDA-ARS requests proposed products that meet and/or exceed the current specifications for the listed item. The USDA-ARS is looking to upgrade aging equipment with state of the art products. The USDA-ARS is currently using a Buhler ML202 Flour Mill: Important functions for suggestions: -Replace Buhler ML202 flour mill -3 break 3 reduction unit with automatic material flow -able to mill approx 6kg of wheat per hour -power requirement 208v 3 phase service Information to be sent to: Brian Fien at Brian.Fien@ars.usda.gov, for questions please call 509-335-3349.
