- SOURCES SOUGHT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting Market Research on behalf of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Durham, North Carolina through this sources sought to help determine the availability of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) to provide a Saline Mist Ultrasound System and supporting components. This requirement shall be a brand name or equal requirement using UltraMIST System, part # CP-80030, and its components, as the benchmark for quality standards expected from equal products. The following outlines the characteristics and features that the medical center requires: 1: 1EA UltraMIST, Saline Mist Ultrasound System (part # CP-80030) with treatment wand, generator, software, power cord, instructions, and a one (1) year factory warranty. A noncontact low frequency ultrasound delivered through a saline mist. Item shall deliver ultrasound energy into and below the wound bed to accelerate the normal healing process. Item shall reduce a wide-range of bacteria, disrupt biofilm, reduce sustained inflammation, and reduce MMP-94. Item shall stimulate cells to promote healing through increased vasodilation, increased angiogenesis, and increased collagen deposition. 2: 1EA Four (4) years extended warranty 3: 1EA GCX Cart Roll Stand to Include: Brand Roll Stand (part # RS-0006-64C) VESA Plate (part # FLP-0001-17-C) 4: 1EA UltraMIST Cart Adaptor (part # CP-80037) The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy.
