Description

STATEMENT OF WORK Tai Chi Quan: Moving for Better Balance I. SCOPE: To provide a Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance (TJQMBB) Instructor Course for twenty (20) participants at Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, 400 Veterans BLVD, Biloxi, MS, 39531. 1. Instructor shall teach over the 2 day course: History of TJQMBB Evidence-base for TJQMBB Program objectives Warm-up movements 8 core forms with mini therapeutic movements Breathing cool-down exercises Practice of the 8 core forms with mini therapeutic movements Review of how to maintain program fidelity Instructor training guide and DVD 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS: All twenty (20) participants shall receive a copy of the TJQMBB Teaching Guide and Teacher DVD. Each participant passing the each class and meeting the time requirements shall receive a completion certificate. 3. REQUIREMENTS: Participants will have a strong commitment to personal growth and is interested in enhancing the lives of veterans through TJQMBB. The class will begin at 8:00am and end at 5:00 pm each day. Class will be two (2) consecutive days. The class dates are July 17 and 18, 2017. Master Instructor shall provide all relevant materials for teaching the course. Price must be all inclusive, covering all of the instructor s travel and expenses and all course materials for participants.
