Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR INVITATION FOR BIDS. The Department of Veterans Affairs (NCO 16), Gulf Coast VA Health Care System has a requirement for complete shoulder repair systems/set, which are a comprehensive selection of specialty instruments to facilitate arthroscopic shoulder repair and is conducting a MARKET RESEARCH to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB),small business sources; HUB Zone 8(a), Women-Owned, or small disadvantaged business concerns; and their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) with a Size Standard of 1000 employees; the PSC is 6515. This "Sources Sought Notice" is to determine verified SDVOSB/VOSB sources for complete should repair systems (Should Arthroscopy Surgical Instruments). The Veterans Administration is required by Public Law 109-461 to provide first priority to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) concerns. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Offered equipment must be Brand New and not refurbished. Interested parties submitting a response to this inquiry must include the following information: name and address of company; business category ( i.e SDVOSB, VOSB or Small Business) and any pertinent information, which demonstrates the firm s ability which will allow the Government to determine the organization s qualifications to deliver the supplies. The statement should identify supplier s name, address, point of contact, phone and fax numbers, e-mail addresses and business type and size. Any pertinent GSA Schedule numbers with expiration date should be provided. These statements should be submitted electronically no later than 1:00 PM Central Standard Time on Thursday, April 20, 2017 to Arlene A. Blade at arlene.blade@va.gov. Any future solicitation could only be awarded to a contractor who is registered in System for Award Management (SAM). To receive award based on SDVOSB or VOSB status vendor must be registered and verified in VetBiz Registry. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement will be published on the FBO website. Respondents are also advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information or provide feedback about any of the information received. After review of the responses received, the Government may issue a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. No proprietary, sensitive, confidential or classified information shall be included with your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation.
