- Amendment 1: Responses to Sources Sought NIH-NIAID-20170406 1. Is this a new requirement? If not, who is the incumbent contractor or contractors? Response: Yes, this is a new requirement. 2. The Technical Requirements for Task Area I regarding Planning, Technical and Logistical Support state that approximately 20-40 domestic and international meetings, conferences and workshops are anticipated each year. What is the range in number of participants expected at these meetings? Response: The range of participants is anywhere from 10 to 350. Approximately how many of these meetings will be international? Response: Approximately 85% of meetings will be international. 3. In Technical Requirements for Task Area I, Graphics Support, what graphics software is currently being used by NIAID? Response: NIAID is not using a graphics software. 4. In Task Area II, Operational Logistical Support, it appears that information on tasks that the contractor may be requested to perform in technical areas was left out. Could you please clarify what is expected of contractors in Task Area II? Response: The following section is deleted: Task Area II: Operational Logistical Support The contractor shall provide support for operational logistics in support of NIAID analysis projects requested by the task leader. Specific requirements for services, deliverables and schedule will be includes in the task order request. Presently, NIAID is using Office 2003 with the expectation of upgrading to the Office 2007 suite within the next three to six months. The contractor will be required to provide electronic documents and products in formats that are compatible with the software platform in use that the time by the NIAID. The contractor may be requested to perform tasks in the following technical areas: 5. We did not see any requirement for meeting registration websites in the Sources Sought. Will the contractor be required to develop registration sites? If not, can you clarify what NIAID's preferred method is for meeting registration? Response: Yes, the contractor may be asked to develop registration sites. Currently, NIAID uses cVent for registration.
