Description
FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-New England District intends to issue a single award, firm fixed-price contract, on a sole source basis to TRAFINFO COMMUNICATIONS, INC of Woburn, MA. The resultant contract is required to provide TRAFFIC MODELLING & REPORTING for CAPE COD CANAL BRIDGES (Bourne and Sagamore Bridges). Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to use existing data and model framework to generate traffic output based on given scenarios, basic analysis, and model description; necessary to support the Cape Cod Canal Bridges Major Rehabilitation Evaluation Report. Per FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirements without unacceptable delays due to the existence of limited data rights on information that will not be made publicly available by MADOT within a reasonable period, as required. Period of Performance: SEVENTY FIVE (75) DAYS FROM DATE OF AWARD All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or a response, which if timely, will be considered by the agency. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The purpose of this notice is as market research to determine the availability of other qualified sources that are capable of meeting the requirement identified above. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. All responses received within ten (10) days of the posting of this notice, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
