- The National Park Service requests information from small businesses registered as small under NAICS 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a size standard of $15M. Vendors interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement should send a Statement of Qualifications to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Terri Dyke, at terri_dyke@nps.gov, NLT 4:00 pm ET on 5 May 2017. Responses to this Sources Sought will be used in determining a set-aside for the acquisition. The project is located in Hot Springs National Park, specifically located on the historic Bathhouse Row behind the Lamar Bathhouse and beside the parking lot of the Administration Building. The areas were the project is located, will have limited work space available. The contractor will be replacing the current generator with a new one. The generator is a 1986 Generac diesel fired, electric generator 163.7 KVA (Kilovolt Amp), 131kw (kilowatt), 0.8PF (Power Factor) and 277/480 volts with a 3-phase system. The transfer switch is a 1986 Generac GTS model 400. The system also has a 217 gallon; single wall fuel tank. The new natural gas generator will be sized to existing generator specifications. Also, the existing system sets on a 5'7" x 14" x 10' concrete pad. The contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of the existing generator and transfer switch transport; any equipment rental, such as a crane; all modifications pertaining to the existing concrete pad to accommodate the new generator; the removal of the diesel that remains in the tank; modifications to the existing 2" gas line that is attached to the Lamar Bathhouse; and the installation of approximately 150' of new line that will need to be installed. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction is between $25,000 to $100,000. Paper copies of this announcement will not be provided. Any questions relating to this announcement must be submitted in writing, via email ONLY, to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Terri Dyke, terri_dyke@nps.gov.
