- National Security Technologies, LLC (NSTec), further referred to as the CONTRACTOR is the Prime Contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS), located 65 miles Northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada. CONTRACTOR is seeking to quantify the economic impact that the NNSS has on Southern Nevada's economy. CONTRACTOR is looking for qualified vendors who can conduct an economic impact analysis of the NNSS. The analysis shall measure the direct, indirect, and induced impact of the NNSS's budget on Southern Nevada's economy. The work shall include analyzing salaries, benefits, procurements, taxes, fees, community donations, and other expenses associated with the NNSS budget for a period of ten (10) years, Fiscal Year 2007 through 2016. These expenses shall include work performed by federal employees, direct subcontractors, and other subcontractors associated with the NNSS. CONTRACTOR will provide the data to be sumitted and all work will be done at the SUBCONTRACTOR's facility. Intereste parties shall provide a capability statement and documentation that supports the following criteria: 1. Must have at least 10 years of experience conducting Nevada Economic Impact Analysis as described above for federal, state, regional, or local government agencies. 2. Must have at least 10 years of experience providing briefing materials for use with elected officials and the general public. 3. Must be able to provide the analysis using the economic impact model known as IMPLAN. 4. Must be able to provide the analysis and associated report within seven (7) weeks of receiving the data.
