Description

Draft SOW THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION/SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS; not a solicitation announcement; therefore this synopisis neither solicits for proposals nor bids and no contract will be awarded based on this synopsis. The purpose of this synopsis is to alert the public (especially small businesses) that the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD), which is an agency within the U.S. Department of Transportation, intends to acquire re-paving services for street areas at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY. Relative Capability Statements from small businesses and/or questions can be sent to lachelle.johnson@dot.gov. The DRAFT Statement of Work is attached for preliminary review. The government intends to issue a Request of Proposal (RFP) on or around June 1, 2017. A firm-fixed-price contract will be utilized for this acquisition. The appropriate NAICS code is 237310 with a smnall business size standard of of $36.5 million. Offerors must have an active registration in www.SAM.gov (not an account, but registration of business) in order to be eligible for award as the result of any Federal Government solicitation. It is the vendor's responsibility to check www.fbo.gov as often as necessary to view posted changes to this synopsis and/or updates/amendments to the future solicitation posting.
