SCOPE OF WORK Catalog NumberDescription Quantity T01-3621-52AIM V -Serum Free Medium360 bottles Period of Performance: The period of performance for these products is one (1) year. July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018. Deliver 30 bottles each month to Cell Processing Section. Delivery Schedule: Deliver 30 bottles each month to Cell Processing Section. Scope of Work: This media is used to expand autologous and allogeneic Chimeric antigen Receptor (CAR) anti-Cd10 cell products that are used to treat patients with B cell malignancies. Many of these patients have already begun a series of CAR cell treatments that would be interrupted if this were not available. This media must come from the same vendor so as to ensure consistency and not introduce a new media which could be responsible for potentially altering the results and in turn, adversely affect the processing of cells and patient treatment plan. The use for the AIM V media is set forth by the investigator and is protocol specific for which there is no other known source. Objective: The Cell Processing Section (CPS) is responsible for the manufacture of human cells and tissue-based products utilized in phase I/II clinical protocols for transplantation, adoptive immunotherapy and gene therapy conducted in the Clinical Center at the NIH. Cell processing procedures are tailored to each of the 30 or more different patient-care clinical research protocols supported. CPS manufactures cellular therapy products from more than 800 collections from patients or healthy donors per year. The products manufactured by the laboratory are used to treat NIH CC patients with cancer, hematological malignancies, marrow failure, genetic immune disorders, hematologic malignancies and autoimmune diseases. Cell Processing Section (CPS) uses the media for cells CD22 culture, BCMA cells culture, CAR T-cells culture to treat a number of disorders, including graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), ischemic heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, and autoimmune diseases. Many of these patients have already begun a series of cells treatments that would be interrupted if this were not available. This media must come from the same vendor so as not to affect the processing of cells and patient treatment plans. Without AIM V, CPS will be unable to culture the cells for treatment.
