Description

FDA-RFQ-1183921 for Digital Gel Imaging System CDER's division of biotechnology research and review regulates protein therapeutics in the United States. As part of the mission related research in this field the division has a need to obtain a digital multi-application gel imaging system which will be used to acquire and analyze images of fluorescent blots, chemiluminescent blots, colorimetric blots, and protein and DNA gels for studying signaling cross-talks between growth factors and developmental pathways. Understanding this integrative signaling between growth factors and developmental pathways will provide insight on adverse events, product efficacy, and biomarkers of beneficial and detrimental patient responses associated with targeted therapeutics. The current gel imaging system available within OBP are not capable of providing the gel imaging requirements needed to conduct critical research.
