- This is not a Request for Project Proposals, but for planning purposes only. A project award will not be awarded from this announcement. The Government intends to announce a Request for Prototype Proposals (RPP16) for execution of a project award(s) in support of Ground Vehicle Systems research and development related to specified project requirements. The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (formerly the Robotics Technology Consortium), and industry in general, advanced notification of Government intent. In July 2014, the Government entered into an Other Transaction Agreement with one (1) consortium, the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC), in support of Ground Vehicle Systems related Research and Development prototype projects. It is the intent of the Government to make project award(s) to member(s) of the NAMC as a result of member project proposals submitted via the Request for Project Proposals process. The Government anticipates the following project to be solicited via W15QKN-14- 9-1002-RPP16: Squad Multipurpose Equipment Transport (SMET) In order to obtain more information regarding the above projects, you must be a member of the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC), http://www.namconsortium.com.
