Description
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that can provide all software necessary for compiling the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Link 16 Waveform Application (WFA). The MIDS JTRS Link 16 WFA is software transiting from OEM development into sustainment at Robins AFB. The MIDS JTRS Link 16 WFA software development environment must remain consistent with the OEM as future joint development activities are expected. The software development environment shall provide the capability for compiling, troubleshooting, and packaging the MIDS JTRS Link 16 WFA such that the end product is capable of being fielded within the MIDS JTRS radio. The software development environment shall ensure the end product produces a compilation identical to the OEM delivered baselines. Permanent software licenses with support and training shall be provided during the base year. The four option years shall include software support only. Required Quantities: Single License and Annual Support: 6 Floating License and Annual Support: 2 Preconfigured Probe and Annual Support: 4 Training ProgramSalient Characteristics Salient Characteristics: Proposals shall state the offered brand name and product number with descriptive literature. Proposals shall clearly state the location of each salient characteristic in the product literature. It is the responsibility of the contractor to provide proof that the proposed product meets or exceeds the requirement of the Air Force and failure to do so may result in proposal rejection. Brand Name or Equal: Green Hills MULTI 6.1.4 and INTEGRITY 11.0.4 Required salient characteristics:  -C++ source-level debugger  -Compiles version ER0E of the MIDS JTRS Link 16 WFA  -Include licenses for developing software targeting the Green Hills INTEGRITY 11.0.4 OS -The software will be complied and linked or the target system using the Green Hills INTEGRITY real-time operating system (RTOS) with the ORBExpress object request broker (ORB) -The software will be complied and linked or the target system for an ARM processor -Probe for connecting to ARM 20-pin debug interface
