- Page 1 of 1 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, is conducting market research to identify potential Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Verified (www.vip.vetbiz.gov) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Business (VOSB) sources which can provide the following equipment: Description: Provide 9 Solar Tower Poles to the VA Northern CA Health Care System, Mather, CA 95655. This requirement will be set-aside 100% for service disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs). To be eligible for a SDVOSB set aside under VA's Veterans First Contracting Program, SDVOSBs must 1) be verified by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as SDVOSB, and 2) meet the small business size standard for NAICS 337214. The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on www.fbo.gov for download on or about September 14, 2016. Anticipated closing date of the solicitation will be September 19, 2016. Solicitation posting and closing dates are subject to change as necessary and amendments will be issued as accordingly. Potential offerors may submit questions regarding the project's requirements as of the date of this posting through a date that will be identified in the solicitation. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; suggested equipment information including manufacturer, model and delivery schedule; whether system is presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. This Sources Sought notice does not constitute a request for proposals.
