- Statue solicitation with description attachments ITEM NO QUANTITY UNIT 0001 1 Each Bronze Female Drill Sergeant Statue 3 dimensional 1 ¼ life size (72 inches in height) statue; statue shall be made of a cast bronze metal alloy; Statue shall be consistent with the attached images; Statue shall include Female Drill Sergeant hat, Left Sleeve-434th FA BDE Shoulder sleeve insignia, right sleeve US FLAG, Shoulder sleeve insignia - 101 Airborne DIV (Air Assault); Right Side of Chest: above pocket shall have name tape, Drill Sergeant Badge located on the right chest pocket; center chest shall have the insignia of grade (Rank); left side of chest above pocket(in order from top to bottom)- Combat Action Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, U.S. Army tape. Statue shall include mounting: Statue shall be mounted on a bronze pedestal 2 feet wide by 2 feet long by 2 feet tall. A plaque shall be attached to the bronze pedestal. Plaque shall include the Drill Sergeant's Creed, US Government Seal on the upper left hand side and the Drill Sergeant's Badge on the upper right hand corner. The statue and pedestal will be mounted on a brown colored cement base 3 feet wide by 3 feet long by 1 foot tall and anchored to the concrete pad in front of building #6005. Statue shall be anchored and secured in a manner that will enable it to withstand 200 MPH winds and an additional 300 pounds of weight. Exact mounting location to be determined by Commander 95th AG BN prior to installation. Price shall include the statue, pedestal, concrete base, delivery and mounting. Upon notification of successful award, Final design and shop drawing shall be submitted to and approved by the Fort Sill Directorate of Public Works (DPW) and by the 95th AG BN Commander prior to proceeding with manufacture of the statues. Notice to proceed shall not be given until Shop Drawings, to include but not limited to: certified foundation plans and load calculations, are approved by the Directorate of Public Works. A site visit is permitted. Contractor shall be onsite to direct and supervise the installation/mounting of the statues to the base.
