The Government proposes to acquire, on a One Time Buy contract, a quantity of 10 each of a SUPPORT STRUCTURAL C; NSN: 1560-01-578-3640; Part Number: 70204-52554-041 applicable to the BE UH-60 Blackhawk weapon system. Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 10 each, 810 Days After Contract Award (DACA). PLT without First Article Testing is 10 each, 540 DACA with deliveries to TEXARKANA, TX 75507-5000 This item is restricted to SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT, CAGE CODE 78286 This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: https://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
