1 This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION only. Market research is being conducted to determine the amount of qualified and capable Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) that can provide the items requested below. If you believe that your firm is able to provide the items requested below, you are encouraged to respond by the due date with all of the required information indicated below in order to be considered. Due date for responses is Thursday, June 15, 2017 at noon local time (CST). Email responses to Melanie Stockman at melanie.stockman@va.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer in writing via email. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or returned. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. NAICS: 339112 Size Standard: 1,000 employees Salient Characteristics Brand Name or Equal Specific line items listed in pricing schedule MVAHCS needs Locking IV carts for Nursing-Brand Name or Equal to suggested model listed in Section B/pricing schedule. The following Locking IV carts for nursing to be added to MVAHCS shall have the following parts and quantity for operation: Requirement Description Pull out side shelf A 3 shelf that pulls out of the cart Size Requirement The height must be between 44 to 46 The width must be between 31 to 33 The depth must be between 21 to 23 Short and long drawer dividers Short and long drawer dividers for each drawer Keyless locking drawer Locking drawer using a key pad rather than key Different sized drawers 3 6 drawers One 9 drawer Wastebasket and sharps container Must include brackets with Velcro to hold wastebasket and large sharps container on the left and right sides
