- Contract Line Items and Clauses Heavy Equipment Lease Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number FA4417-17-T-0023 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95 effective 19 Jan 2017. This acquisition is being conducted using Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items in accordance with FAR part 12 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for competition amongst eligible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSB) with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 532412 and size standard of $32.5M. Subject requirement is for Heavy Equipment Rental at Eglin AFB, FL. Air Force personnel will perform the day-to-day maintenance such as cleaning of the dump beds, cleaning the operator's cabs, and general preventive maintenance for the period of the lease. The contractor shall provide all personnel, management, supplies, transportation, and equipment to lease two (2) 30-40 ton articulated dump trucks and one (1) D8T bulldozer track type tractor. The contractor shall deliver to and pick up the equipment from Eglin AFB, FL in accordance with Attachment 2, Statement of Work. The lease period shall be 59 days, not including delivery and pick up time. The FOB point is Destination, the place of delivery is Eglin AFB, FL. Government inspection and acceptance will take place at Eglin AFB, FL Responses must be recieved no later than (NLT): 5 July 2017, 1400 CST (Central Standard Time) Submit written offers only, oral offers will not be accepted. Please respond to this RFQ by providing the information as required in this document and Attachment 1. Return one (1) copy to the POC/s emails as detailed above.
