Description
Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation plans to issue a letter solicitation to add 2 NSNs to the existing Long-Term Contract (LTC) with KLX Aerospace Solutions under contract number SPM4AX-13-D-9402. Items scheduled for addition and inclusion to the LTC are sole source to KLX Aerospace Solutions (CAGE 2N935). The award was issued using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The NSN details are as follows: NSN P/N Nomenclature 1660008863637 591302-1 PARTS KIT, REGULATOR 9905012406323 2664927 PLATE, IDENTIFICATION Alternate offerors must submit a complete technical data package for each NSN for approval in order to be considered. Any items found to be competitive after award of the contract or become competitive after award, will be removed from the contract. Surplus dealers and small business dealers and distributors having existing stocks of surplus or newly manufactured material are invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, Government Surplus Material, or adequate traceability documentation to show product is acceptable. In addition, respondents should identify quantity available and price. DLA will consider all such responses and may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly manufactured inventory is in the best interests of the government. This is a letter Request for Proposal (RFP). A copy of the letter RFP will not be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). A copy of this solicitation will only be available to requesters by contacting the Primary Point of Contact directly. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated issue date of the letter RFP is July 6,2017.
