SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR ACUTE CARE BEHAVIOR HEALTH, PSYCHIATRIC BEDS Background: Psychiatric beds are uniquely suited for critical mental health applications. The beds bolt securely to the floor. Beds mount in a corner, against a wall or free standing. The beds are sturdy and seamless and beds feature a raised lip around the bed deck for easy clean-up. The platform beds conform with the Stringent Safety Requirements in Behavioral Health Services. Project Scope: Platform Beds, Mattresses, Pillows and four hundred twenty (420) spike Bolts for use in the Acute Behavioral Health Care. Supply Specifications Requirements: Physical Characteristics Norix Attenda or equal Platform beds with sealed bottom, Color: Graphite beds mount in a corner, against a wall or free standing and bolt securely to the floor with Spike Bolts. Mattress is Remedy Blue and has Sealed Seam. Pillow has Blue Sealed Seam Integrated Double Pillow. Dimensions: Bed Deck Length 80", Bed Deck Width 36", Height 15.5", Overall Length 84" Overall Width 40", Weight 110-115 lbs. Bottom Closure Panel: Model ATN101B Fabrication & Material Slightly textured maintenance free surface allows for easy cleaning. Rotationally molded, specially formulated, fire-retardant, high-impact polyethylene with ultraviolet light stabilizers (to reduce fading). Chemically resistant to blood, vinegar, urine, feces, salt solution and chlorine solution. Unit is filled with rigid polyurethane foam for increased durability and sound absorption. Made in the U.S.A. Performance Test Standards Product tested to 1,000 lbs static load Warranty and Support: Manufacturer s Warranty 10 year limited replacement warranty.
