- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Medium Endurance Product Line, has a requirement to overhaul Boat Boom Davits, NSN 2030-01-476-6301, P/N D5700CT, Qty 4 each and Ship Control Console, NSN 2030-01-612-7381, P/N 60576, Qty 1 each. This requirement includes the disassembly, inspection, overhauling, testing, packaging, marking, barcoding and delivery of Original Equipment (OEM), Allied Systems Company parts in strict accordance with specification(s). A Quality Assurance inspection by U.S. Coast Guard authorized personnel will execute final inspection and acceptance upon completion of overhauls. The Coast Guard does not possess the proprietary technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing/provisioning data, or special tools necessary to overhaul the assets. This information is proprietary to the OEM, Allied Systems Company. It is the Government's belief that the OEM does not currently have any authorized repair facilities; however, potential sources can submit information demonstrating their capabilities to provide genuine OEM parts and OEM authorized Technical Representative Services. This information shall include, but is not limited to: (1) Data that the offered services have been satisfactorily provided to the OEM or the Government in the past. The data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. (2) A written letter, signed by the OEM, certifying the offerors capability to access OEM drawings, specifications and special tools needed to perform the overhaul(s). The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. This is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ), therefore; no cost or pricing information shall be submitted at this time. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued within 20 days of this announcement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information that is submitted in response to this solicitation. The above information must be received no later than 12:00 noon on 10 July 2017. Information received after this date may not be considered.
