Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Hampton VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 100 Emancipation Drive in Hampton, Virginia will be soliciting quotes for Refuse and Recycling Services. The contractor shall provide all materials, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete and provide refuse/recycling services. A Request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-17-Q-1402 will be issued on or about June 30, 2017. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is October 1, 2017 (or date of award) through September 30, 2018 or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 562111 Waste Management Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $12.5 million. The classification code is S205. The solicitation will be issued as an SDVOSB set-aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
